SovereignTEE Ltd

Democratising the technology that keeps data sovereign.

Hardware-attested security, multi-party computation, and universal service interoperability have been available only to the best-resourced teams. We are changing that.

What the name means

Sovereign

Data sovereignty is not a compliance checkbox. It is the architectural guarantee that data is processed only under conditions you control — where it runs, who can see it, what code is allowed to act on it. Sovereignty requires enforcement, not just policy. Without a trustworthy execution environment, the guarantee is only as strong as the promises of whoever operates the infrastructure.

TEE

Trusted Execution Environments — including Intel SGX and TDX, Arm TrustZone and CCA, and AMD SEV-SNP — use hardware-backed isolation to reduce how much of the host platform a workload must trust. Remote attestation lets a relying party verify measured workload and platform claims against its own identity, debug-state and TCB policy before releasing sensitive data.

The combination is the product: using hardware-attested trusted execution as the mechanism that makes data sovereignty real rather than assumed.

Why this company exists

The pattern that led to SovereignTEE is familiar to anyone who has built distributed systems at scale. Every service boundary demands the same hand-written infrastructure: serialisation, transport plumbing, authentication, callback routing, and lifetime management. None of it is the actual product. All of it accumulates, silently, until it dominates the codebase and the team's time.

Adding hardware attestation — verifying measured code and platform state before establishing trust — makes this worse. TEE toolchains are deep, the expertise is rare, and the systems that need these guarantees most are often the ones with the least capacity to build them.

SovereignTEE was founded on the conviction that this capability gap can be closed. The Canopy technology makes boundary infrastructure generated rather than hand-written. Canopy provides reusable mechanisms for the difficult transition into protected execution. Deployment policy and qualification still need engineering. Both should be accessible to any capable development team, not just the largest and best-funded ones.

Products

SovereignTEE operates at two levels. Canopy provides the development foundation. The commercial products address specific trust and sovereignty use cases that Canopy enables.

Canopy development environment

A framework, contract generator, integration tools and runtime, with generated JavaScript clients and Intel SGX confidential-computing components.

Development tools

Layer 7 gateway

Policy enforcement at interface granularity. A deployment can bind service contracts and method permissions to a protected workload, with identity and policy defined for the application.

Deployment design

Honest broker

A deployment design for joint processing under agreed code and release policy, with workload evidence checked before contributing data.

Deployment design

Hardware-attested DRM

Content and model protection where enforcement is inside a TEE. Its assurance depends on the application, platform, key policy and permitted outputs.

Design the right trust boundary

SovereignTEE works directly with users and partners to turn trust requirements into a qualified deployment profile. If you have a trust-boundary problem that fits this space, we want to hear about it.
